Hopper is a totally original comedy-adventure franchise born of the vivid imagination of comics creator Chris Grine. First introduced as a series of graphic novels combining offbeat humor, touching tales and fantastical worlds, Hopper quickly won over a loyal following thanks to its one-of-a-kind hero: a half-chicken, half-rabbit… but with a big heart.
The transition from page to screen came to fruition with Hopper and the Hamster of Darkness, a CG-animated feature film produced by nWave Studios. The film brought the beloved character and his world to life in a daring family adventure full of action, charm and visual creativity. Its success expanded the franchise’s audience, inspiring a new wave of fans, as well as a video game adaptation allowing players to take on the role of Hopper and live out their own thrilling adventures.
The next film, Hopper and the Secret of the Groundhog, will be released in cinemas in Europe and the rest of the world from October 2025. It promises even greater adventures, familiar faces and a galaxy of new surprises.
